Actress and filmmaker Kangana Ranaut has made a name in the industry with sheer hard work and determination. While she has let her work speak for herself, she is often seen taking to social media to comment on the injustice done to her by Bollywood. From not giving her work to singling her out when she spoke up about her alleged relationship with Hrithik Roshan, she has unabashedly shared details of her life.

She has now taken to her Instagram stories to share an old conversation with Aamir Khan from his TV show Satyamev Jayate. She had arrived on the episode alongside actresses Deepika Padukone and Parineeti Chopra where they spoke about how she has consciously said no to doing item songs in Bollywood after she had seen her friend's young daughter dancing to one of the songs. Sharing the video, which was uploaded by one of her fan pages, the actress on Tuesday mentioned that she used to consider Khan her best friend. She went on to wonder “jaane kahan gaye woh din.” The actress further recalled her much-publicised legal battle with Roshan and expressed how even after mentoring her and shaping a lot of her choices he sided with the WAR actor. Quoted by Hindustan Times, she wrote, “One thing is for sure that he has mentored me, appreciated me, and shaped a lot of my choices, before Hrithik did that legal case on me. On the work front, Kangana Ranaut will be seen in Emergency, her first solo directorial project. She will be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. A period political drama, the movie is based on the emergency period in India during the mid-70s, which was announced by the then PM. She also has RSVP Movies’ Tejas, Chandramukhi 2 and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in the pipeline.
